Hasti Memarian

MS.c. Student, University of Alberta

Hasti is a M.Sc student in Electrical Engineering at the University of Alberta under the supervision of Prof. Mahdi Hamidi and Prof. Kambiz Moez, focusing on Nano Sensors and Devices. She received her B.Sc in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran in 2022. Her B.Sc thesis, Structural Design and Operation Analysis of a Brain Microelectrode, and her electronics background applicable for large-area remote hydrogen sensing to make storage, transportation, and utilization of Hydrogen safe and aligned with the standards set by the US Department of Energy. She aims to create an RF-powered, maintenance-free hydrogen sensor that incorporates nano-architected palladiumcarbon structures using nanofabrication techniques; the goal is to offer a cost-effective and precise solution for real-time hydrogen monitoring.
