Gizem is a chemical engineer and a thesis-based Master's student in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alberta, where her focus is on fabricating electrospun shape memory (SMP) mats and yarns. Investigation of mechanical properties and shape memory behaviors of both mats and yarns is the scope of her thesis.
