Elham is a Ph.D. student in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alberta under the supervision of Dr. Mahdi Hamidi. She holds a Master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, where she worked on metal-organic framework/graphene-based hybrid electrodes for high-performance micro-supercapacitors. She also holds a B.Sc. in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology. Alongside her master’s studies, she also gained research experience in ceramic coatings and 2D/2D heterostructure nanofillers for corrosion protection and thermomechanical enhancement of epoxy coatings. Her current research focuses on electrochemical energy storage devices, with an emphasis on connecting materials design, microfabrication, and electrochemical functionality.
